SJ made the best of the fantastic summer weather and took their Soul Show into the grounds of Haybergill Centre near Warcop.
First up was a delightful supper enjoyed in the rural setting amongst the trees. SJ then started to warm up the proceedings (purely metaphorical as it was 27 degrees!) with a great first set.
Strawberries and meringues were served during the interval and the second set had everyone up dancing and singing. The audience sing-off challenge had to be judged a draw and Proud Mary was amazing. Good job there were no near neighbours.
A great night of Soul in the company of people who knew how to enjoy themselves.
