Workington Royal British Legion

It’s always a pleasure to play at Workington Royal British Legion, and this time was another sellout. As soon as the doors opened there was a surge of people!  The atmosphere was great, with lots of singers and dancers keen to get into the spirit of the night, winning dancing badges and generally having a good time.

We had fun too, starting with the best fish and chips ANYWHERE and then a beer in the cosy bar, before cracking on with our first set.

Lisa soon got everyone on the dance floor, and we were delighted to help the Legion raise £596 towards their brilliant community Armed Forces Day, which lots of people in Workington love.

Thank you to Lesley and team for welcoming us … we’re looking forward to returning later in the year!
